Wimp vs. whim[edit]

Why this member __earth insulted me WIMP (WIMP - dictionary: A person who is regarded as weak or ineffectual)? I was only editing the article because I thought it was not good enough and I want to improve it but he __earth came insulting me WIMP! What kind of Wikipedian he is, does he know manner? Well I know my article is not good enough but why insult me? I will improve it slowly. KCKaySee 03:50, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I can reassure you here - he didn't mean to insult you. He's just mistyped on his keyboard! 'Wimp' is technically an insult, but he didn't mean to say it. Don't worry.Chase me ladies, I'm the Cavalry 03:53, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV and misrepresentation[edit]

This page is high NPOV and seemingly used to advance a contentious position earlier discussed at Talk:Malaysia. While the person himself may be notable within Malaysia, he is known for his modified Islamic belief, not for Arabization. __earth (Talk) 04:20, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have searched the 'sources' quoted from this article. All except one advocates on Ashaari being an extremist Islamist leader who have its narrow interpretation of Islam. Nothing about Arabisation as mentioned. One source, however, is from the mahaguru blog, denoting this blogger's opinion about the 'creeping' of Arab culture into Malay. Tell me whether the argument is strong enough in this sense. And it is what Earth said, Ashaari was condemned because of the sectarian ideology of Islam. --Zack2007 05:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

contentious material removed[edit]

I have removed this material from the main space: Ashaari Mohammad procures Malaysian women as sex slaves and trains suicide commandos in the jungle [1].

It was the opinion of Mahathir that the women were sex slaves, based on his interpretation of Shari'a law - but Mahathir was not known for his infallible accuracy, and was known to demonise his opponents. This statement cannot stand, it does not meet guidelines for biographies of living persons. docboat 08:53, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
